04/01/21:  Cleaning: Work resumed April 1st! Work will begin by running black HDPE pipe down 2A2 all the way to Three Sisters Spring. From there, we will run lay-flat hoses to the end of canal 6. One crew will begin maintenance in Canal 6 while another crew will begin vacuum cleaning in 2B1. Both crews will be dewatering to Shatz Island.

04/05/21 – Cleaning: The vacuum crews will be working towards the west just east of the Bridge on Kings Bay Drive and will be dewatering at Paradise Point as usual.

It was our fifth week in the water and we are pushing toward a bit over halfway through 2B1a area. We worked just west of the bridge Kings Bay Drive in 2B1. The dewatering location is still at Shatz Island or Paradise Point.
Planting: Planting will resume once the areas have been cleaned. Please help us keep the project protected and watch your anchors to be sure you do not damage the newly planted grasses and cages.
Maintenance Cleaning: Maintenance crews are working from 2A1 towards the southeast. We have started on the western end of canal 2A1 and will work our way to the east so we can end up right in front of the mouth of canal 6 which will be the second canal we conduct maintenance of the Lyngbya on. The crews were at the bridge and starting to work on the east side of the bridge about halfway between the bridge and canal 6.  The dewatering for the maintenance crews is located on Shatz Island while they are close to there.

05/10/21:  Cleaning: Cleaning crews vacuum cleaned with a three-person team approximately 14,000 square feet. It was our sixth fifth week in the water and we are pushing towards 70% complete through 2B1a area. We worked just west of the bridge Kings Bay Drive in 2B1. The dewatering location is still at Shatz Island or Paradise Point.
Planting: Planting will resume once the areas have been cleaned. Please help us keep the project protected and watch your anchors to be sure you do not damage the newly planted grasses and cages.
Maintenance Cleaning: The maintenance crews will continue to work their way east to Canal 6 and begin Canal 6. The crews at Shatz island will be fusing pipe for them so they can make the 1,350 foot run to the end of canal 6.  They are currently at the mouth of Canal 6.  Dewatering will be at Shatz Island during maintenance of this canal.

05/17/21:  Cleaning: Cleaning crews are currently working towards the west just west of the Bridge on Kings Bay Drive. The crew is zigzagging north to south in a series of rectangles.  Dewatering at Paradise Point as usual.
